Your data, your choice
Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This is the official website of David Jones (David Jones Music), a country guitarist based in Northwest Indiana (USA). For any privacy question, write to davidjonesmusic0114@gmail.com.
2. What information we handle
- Contact form: name, email, company, band or organization (optional), type of inquiry, format, event date, subject and the message you write. The website does not store this information: the form only prepares the message and opens your own email program. Nothing is sent unless you confirm it there.
- Browsing: like any website, the hosting server keeps technical access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser) for security purposes.
- Your privacy choice: it is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) only so we don't ask again. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry about bookings, collaborations, brand partnerships, guitar tabs or other business, based on your request and the consent you give in the form.
- Access logs: to keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles and we never sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Cookies and third-party content
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics tools or advertising pixels. Fonts and images are served by the website itself.
- YouTube (Google): videos use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you click to watch. If you choose “Essential only”, we ask again before loading. Google Privacy Policy.
- Online store: guitar tabs and apparel are sold on the David Jones Music store (davidjonesmusic.net, powered by Wix). Purchases, payment and delivery are handled there, under that store's own terms and privacy policy.
- External links (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Linktree, the Josie Music Awards and brand websites) lead to services with their own policies, which apply once you visit them.
5. Who the information is shared with
Messages you send are kept by the email provider David uses, which acts as a service provider. If a booking or project goes ahead, some details may be shared with the band, the artist or the venue involved, always with your knowledge and only as needed.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your inquiry and, if there is an agreement, for the duration of that agreement and any legal or tax obligations. Inquiries that do not lead to an agreement are deleted within 12 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know whether we hold information about you and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Just write to davidjonesmusic0114@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS and does not store form data in any database. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive through our contact channels.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the version in effect.
