About Milano
A versatile performer, educator & creative professional.
Music, teaching, acting, voiceover, filmmaking and writing aren't separate careers for Milano. They are different stages for the same thing: telling stories and connecting with people.
Milano del Toro is an experienced performer and creative professional whose work spans music, education, acting, voiceover and filmmaking.
As a live musician, Milano brings energy, humour and a natural connection with audiences to venues, private celebrations and corporate events. His repertoire draws from more than five decades of music, ranging from classic favourites to contemporary pop and rock, with Motown also forming part of his musical offering. Alongside the covers sit his own songs, written and recorded as a solo artist and with his band, The Milano Express.
Alongside performing, Milano has dedicated more than twenty years to teaching music and developing performance skills. His approach combines practical experience, technical foundations and an understanding of each individual's goals, strengths and learning style.
His creative work also extends into acting, voiceover, filmmaking and writing, reflecting a broad interest in storytelling and performance across different mediums. He studied acting at the V.C.A. School of Drama and has lent his voice to campaigns for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Old El Paso and Subaru.
Whether on stage, in a lesson or working on a creative production, Milano values preparation, adaptability and meaningful connections with people.
