Your learning journey, your way
Milano offers personalised tuition for students of different ages, experience levels and aspirations. His approach combines solid technical foundations with practical learning, creativity and an understanding of each student's individual needs.
The aim is not simply to understand the theory, but to develop the skills and confidence to put that knowledge into practice, enjoy the process and express yourself.
His teaching, recording and performing experience, and a current live schedule of more than ten venues a month, keep his lessons fresh and relevant. Reading music (notation and tablature), writing music, scales and arpeggios are a strong part of the foundation, developing full musical comprehension from the classical form into pop, jazz and other genres.

Interpretation, presence, expression and preparing for performances, grounded in training at the V.C.A. School of Drama and workshops including N.I.D.A.

AMEB exam preparation
Preparation for selected AMEB examinations may be available for eligible students, including classical piano, contemporary voice and contemporary piano. Please enquire in advance to discuss the category, requirements and availability.

Recitals at the end of each year give students the chance to show their skills, build confidence, overcome performance nerves and become better performers and presenters.

Milan is an experienced music and drama teacher with children and adults, so all ages. Piano, guitar, singing and performing arts. With younger children Milan helps to build confidence and trust and arms them with new skills beyond just the music tuition. The kids love the time and feel energised after. Milan is intelligent, has personality to boot and is equipped with higher emotional intelligence than most. I'm glad to find someone who ticks all the boxes!
Milan is very knowledgeable, fun and is accommodating of different skill levels and interests. He listens to what your musical interests are and takes the lesson in a direction that will keep you interested and wanting to practice outside of lessons.
